here are some of luna's birthday gifts, so far... on our way up to l.a. last weekend we stopped at Dr. Freeclouds Record Shoppe in orange county to drop off cd's and records and visit our friends (the owners). i found these mickey mouse and donald duck disco records from 1976 it seems like the perfect way to introduce disco to the kids! they are so flippin cute! raoul and i took luna shopping in long beach and found the cutest vintage-consignment boutiques with so many little gems, my head was spinning! so i got luna this vintage lacoste jumper (i am in love with it!) and the mustard yellow suit case for her toys and books. then raoul's mom busted out these books for our babies that belonged to raoul when he was 5 years old, one of them is dated 1976 written by his parents! the little engine that could, little bear and dr. seus' green eggs and ham and they are so special to me.. i hope our kids don't destroy them. i also found the rockabye baby lullaby renditions of the beatles and of course the softie from pygmy hippo i mentioned on yesterday's post. and for myself? well i did come across some vintage high waisted bell bottoms and they fit pretty perfect. i'm just waiting for the perfect time to wear them, raoul's gonna be gone on tour for a whole month so there's not a whole lot of mama fun happening any time soon. this single mama life isn't easy when u have a crazy 2 year old around. wish me luck this month, im gonna need it!
