LUNA'S PARTY

every year since i've been a mom, birthday parties have been so much work. even luna's first birthday which was so low key and simple. that was the only birthday raoul has ever missed since he was in europe working. but man, you gotta worry about location, food, decorations, party favors, balloons, drinks, entertainment and on top of all that, you gotta keep an eye on your own kids. but this year was a bit more relaxed. not too much but we had the party at my mils, we got a pony to give the kids rides and my mil got the cake luna had been asking for. hello kitty cake, that's all luna asked for. this girl is too sweet for words. we had some sweet friends over, played games, rode a pony, broke a pinata, made some art and ate some cake. it was pretty awesome. like i said on instagram, my favorite part was singing the birthday song. luna's face lit up with joy, she had the biggest smile on her face! it was really a beautiful day, after a week of rain and cold the sunshine finally came out just in time for her special day. gosh i love her so much!
