One of Stones Throw's new album release and new artist is Anika. You can read her interview on buddysocietyblog.com I have been listening to her so much lately and now Niko sings along to the "I go to sleep" she covered. (extremely cute) It has been covered by many different artists over the last 4-5 decades? WOW! but I really dig her style. It was produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead/Beak so duh it's going to sound amazing! Also her version of "Masters of War" is brilliant. Takes me to another world!
