SESAME STREET ART SHOW

it has been one of the busiest weekends of all time. but we got through it alive. a couple scrapes, cuts and tears along the way but we survived! as i had mentioned last week, the mister's youngest sister go married this weekend. the days before the wedding were filled with getting last minute things done and ready for the big day. i helped my mil make the centerpieces for the wedding and that same week we took the kids to their first ever music & art class for niko and a play and learn class for luna. we do plan to enroll them as soon as we get back from our two week trip to mexico later this month but right now i am trying to slowly get my home into an acceptable shape. i am not a clean freak, i wish i was. i let my kids play and make messes and have fun. i do my cleaning once they go to bed but sometimes there ends up being clothes on the floor in my bedroom that either needs to be washed or put away. i create piles and piles trying to organize but i just end up creating little messes everywhere. anyway, this is what i am dealing with this week. sunday morning we hung out with raoul's family that was visiting from texas, then headed up to the sesame street exhibition i had mentioned about last week. after the art show we drove to las vegas for the night and i will share that  tomorrow. i took so many photos at the art show but the mister got everything on video if you're interested its below :)
i loved this show because it really represented l.a. and its artists. i love street art - graffiti art and the way it was displayed this weekend was just funny and awesome at the same time. the kids had fun, although i am currently dealing with behavior issues with niko it was overall a really good weekend. ( this post is a contribution to mama love papa's small style! )
Luna wore: shirt from kidzhead2toe in long beach, leggings, h&m. shoes, converse.
Niko wore: shirt, target. shorts, target. sandals, khols. (i think, they were gifted from grandma)

Totally cute little outfits! I'm so like you with cleaning, it sounds like. I am in the middle of a reorganization project and somehow my house just looks messier!
